AMG activation menu Instructions

There are 2 ways to perform AMG activation menu: physical method and software implementation.

Method 1: Perform physical activation

Step 1: Proceed to disassemble the instrument cluster for your Mercedes Benz

Step 2: Separate the components of the instrument cluster and remove the PCB
Step 3: Verify locate chip 24LC128 chip. Then use soldering gun to remove 24LC128 chip
Step 4: Next put it into programming using EZP2010
Run EZP2010 software, select: Type: 24 EEPROM -> Manu: MICROCHIP -> Chip: MIC24LC128 -> Then click “Read”

Step 5: Once done, click “Save” button to save the original data on PC.
Step 6: locate line 0001D0, and change byte 0 and byte 1 to (10 20), then click “Prog” to write it to 24LC128 chip.
Step 7: Solder the 24LC128 chip on the PCB and install the instrument assembly back on your Mercedes Benz and start the test again.

Method 2: Performing active with DTS Monaco

When doing this, you need to prepare the following software and devices: DTS Monaco software, Xentry diagniostic software, SD Connect C4 Doip, Laptop
